Policy Statement

 

  • ARMj gives a lifetime warranty on all items.  Anything that is defective will be fixed or replaced at no additional cost with free shipping. We however are not responsible for damage due to wear and tear therefore the warranty applies within reason.  
  • All deposits are non-refundable.  All sales are final unless an item breaks due to a defect in the manufacturing process.
  • If you are allergic to silver, copper, or brass, we offer gold plating at an additional fee.
  • Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery on orders.  Allow an extra week for orders placed during a large seasonal sale. We do not offer refunds in cases where it might take a little more time.  All pieces are completely handmade by Kodwo Nwala and we ask that you are patient. We will be very communicable with you during the process with updates on the eta of the piece.
  • Allow up to 40 days for special customized pieces especially if they call for plating or the ordering of special stones.
  • In the event that the delivery of an item time sensitive, please let us know if a rush is needed. For instance if a purchase is a birthday or mother’s day gift, or will be worn to a special event like a wedding, etc.. In most cases, we can accommodate rush request but will communicate factors to consider if we are unable to do so. Additional shipping charge will apply for rush orders.

Custom Orders

If We accept an order that is not featured on our website, Our policy is as follows:
The client is required to make a full payment before We pay for any materials and begin working on prototypes or do any work. Upon the time that we start working on the client's custom order, any and all payments and deposits are non-refundable. This is true unless We are more than three months behind with the custom order, have not communicated with the client during that time, or have found that We are not able complete the request. 

If the client decide to end the transaction and no longer wish to go forward with the custom order, you have the option to choose from any one or more of Our pieces of equal or lesser value to your original payment not including the money spent on supplies and work. Work is calculated at $100 per hour which will also be quantified during the process.
 

Returns Policy


You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
